#StreamTeam: #BeatBugs Celebrates Love

I have to say that I am thrilled to be raising kids in a post-Teletubby, and Barney digital age. With a seven-year-old and a three-year-old, I love to be able to connect to with my kids through Netflix, and watch some of the same shows I grew up watching. From Care Bears to Inspector Gadget and the Magic School Bus, to name a few, I enjoy seeing the thrill and excitement in their eyes as I did as a child watching these same shows.
The educational and original content Netflix has created specifically geared towards children is capturing an audience that loves to put their favorites on replay. Creating quality content catered to my young children, allows them to be inquisitive, engaging and eager to ask questions about topics they are not familiar with. Their programming has something for every child, boy or girl, adventurer or dreamer. My boys, for example, love being a part of the world of Kong: King of the Apes, and at the same time go on an epic adventure beyond the stars with The Little Prince.
Beat bugs, Netflixβs latest animated series, which uses the Beatles songs to teach children meaningful life lessons through music is just another creative way to capture an audience and in a paramount way is connecting generations in a way that has not been done before. It makes my heart happy to hear my kids hum along to these songs and make connections between Jasper's world and theirs. This show allows children to go on a musical adventure with Jasper and his friends in a way that allows them to interactively learn about themselves, their communities, and what great things they can accomplish with their buddies in the process.
